Im currently teaching English class and we have this unit where we will read To Kill a Mockingbird book for my junior’s English class. Back story is that they’re not at that level of capable to read independently. I teach differentiated class- smaller group setting. I tried to look online to find time frame/resources that corresponds to each chapter of the movie. Such as beginning of movie to 0:05:25 (hour:minute:seconds) represent the first chapter of the book- (this is just example)
I want to have the students read the chapter a time and watch a short scene from the movie to help them aligns the story. My students are very visually learners and they learn best by through various videos/pictures visuals that connects with the concept of reading.
I wonder if there is any kind of guideline out there that has all chapters recorded in each timeframe length. If so, it’ll be greatly appreciated and it’ll significantly help a lot with my lesson planning.
I wanted to reach out the community first before doing it myself. It can be time consuming but I wanted to see first if there is anything out there
LMK! TIA!!
