I have no idea what people say about this book on tiktok, but I liked the series. I read the first three books. It’s very violent and revolutionary, and I think it’s great when stories are *actually* about revolution and changing systems of oppression, which can be hard to pull off but this series does well.

When I see people getting book advice off tiktok… I don’t even know what to say to that.
Anyway, it’s a fun read. Nothing mind blowing but I enjoyed it. To me it’s sort of like when The Martian hit big. It’s not that they’re the most incredibly well written books. But they’re fun and they’re written in a way that’s accessible.

I found it both implausible and not-fun. But I’m not really the target audience, and I’m happy if there’s a series that young men can enjoy.

I like it. But here’s an idea, why don’t you try reading the book that you clearly want to read and form your own opinion instead of asking for reviews of reviews.
