I’m 24 and never really went to uni. Because I’ve never done well in school, esp when I have some learning disabilities and concentration problems. Lmao.
I’m reading questions on Reddit “is a degree in writing worth it?” And every single person says no don’t do it. Which is making me regret my choice a little bit😂
I’ve decided to pursue my writing dream. I finally enrolled in a creative writing undergraduate for next year.
I know it’s not even going to get me a job and I’ll end up in debt. But I think it’d be a great push/motivation excuse to make me write, since I m never bothered to dedicate my time to it.
What I’m also have second thoughts and worried about is my commitment – knowing me a girl that dropped out of so many tafe (Australian community college) courses and how much I struggled in school – Not that I want to but I can already see myself being turned off by the work load then dropping out in a year or by the first semester, knowing me.
Getting skeptical about this. But I’ve already enrolled 😂
