I’m recently getting back into reading and a lot of the books I’ve been listening to recently I feel like I need to take notes on. What recommendations do you have for a book I can listen to that isn’t giving me advice or teaching me something. I’m open to fiction, horror, romance, sci-fi, I really just want to be able to listen on my drive in and from work or kick back and relax.

Shantaram. It’s about convicted Australian bank robber and heroin addict who escapes from Pentridge Prison and flees to India in the 1980s. The audiobook is great way to experience it.
* `Project Hail Mary` narrated by `Ray Porter`
* `Bobiverse Series` narrated by `Ray Porter`
* `The First Law Trilogy` narrated by `Steven Pacey`
I love reading books, but these are my favorite Audiobooks, which I’ve listened to, after reading the book..
Neil Gaiman narrates his own books, and Graveyard Book and Ocean at the end of the lane are the more recent ones I’ve enjoyed.
Ring Shout by P. Djeli Clark
Dresden Files and Red Rising are ones you’ll see recommended a lot here.. I think the Red Rising series has an audible only version that is a full production (full cast, sound effects, etc.).
Nonfiction: Bill Bryson books are good listens, ‘A short history of nearly everything’ is good, as is The Body. I also really enjoyed Trevor Noah’s ‘born a crime’ and surprisingly ‘greenlights ‘ by Matthew McConaughey.
Expanse is fun
