Hey Guys,
I am new to this sub. And also new to Book reading. I just wanted to pick up a few habits. So I thought why not this. Can you guys suggest me some books in genre suspense.. you know where about police finding a killer and something like that. But please keep in mind that english is not my mother tongue nor my country official language.

If English is not your first language I’d recommend trying YA books first. They typically are written with simpler language that’s easy to understand, but are still enjoyable by adults as long as you can forgive a bit of cliche or cheesiness.
Jean Hanff Korelitz’s **The Plot** is a mystery/suspense about an author’s theft of a story plot that turns into a best seller. It is a little slow in the beginning.
