I recently ordered a chair that I was planning on sitting in to read at night. It is awful! It had great reviews, and it was small enough to fit in my extremely tiny apartment, and it wasn’t really expensive. The top of the chair extends further than the rest of the back of the chair, and it pushes my head forward at a weird angle. I get really bad aches in my neck and upper back from sitting in it for just a few minutes. I even added a back pillow to try and help, but it’s not any better. I cannot read in bed because I’m sharing a room with my three year old, and she’s in there asleep by 7:30.
Can anyone suggest a smaller, straight backed chair that’s comfortable and not expensive? I don’t care what it looks like. Recliners are on option, but I haven’t found one small enough, and I’m worried I would have to assemble it.
For reference, the chair is listed as the “Wenlow Lazy Chair with Ottoman, Modern Lounge Accent Chair.”
