Hello!
I’ve been reading the same genre for literal years, and it’s gotten very repetitive. The pattern recognition doesn’t allow me to be surprised anymore and I can guess the big reveals before they happen now which makes books disappointing! I want to branch out but I’m unsure where to start.
I’ve always read fantasy. The inheritance cycle is one of my favorites, and I’ve read other books by Christopher Paolini. Another one of my comfort reads is The Host by Stephanie Meyer (we don’t talk about twilight) and I also just recently read The Chemist and it was a decent read too. I think I might like to try some mystery/thrillers? But I’m open to any suggestions so I can find something else besides fantasy/romance to read! I’ve truly exhausted this genre I feel 🥴
