I started to read Prodigal Summer but it didn’t do much for me personally. Can anyone who is familiar with her work offer a suggestion for his next book based on this review?
“I was initially drawn to barbara kingsolver after coming across “Prodigal Summer”. She kinda blended this romance of female forest ranger with a wandering lumberjack with a very thorough knowledge of coyotes. She has a double degree in biology so everything regarding wild animals was very accurate. Also she was raised in Appalachian Kentucky. Some of the characters reminded me of my grandparents. “
He didn’t enjoy Demon Copperhead as much because he found it troubling to relate so much to the characters (less so with PS).
