Has anyone read any kind of dystopian/utopian books where society is actually perfect? Like in most of dystopian books, shit is fucked up…some concepts I would be interested in:
• Society/world where everybody is a genius of some kind and has an influence as well as power
•Society/world where every person is extremely good looking from the birth and never gets insecure
• Society/world where everybody is immortal and never gets sick
I’ve seen some movies/shows with some of these concepts (such as immortality), but there is always some fucked up shit going on on the side, like extreme inequalities and class divisions. What I really want to find is a book that describes a perfect world, that avoids all the pitfalls. I supposed that would be more of a utopian than dystopian…

Uglies by Scott Westerfield maybe? Everyone gets an operation at 16 to be beautiful and never get sick, etc. The book is the story of people that decide to resist the operation and what happens.
