I, F, 33, found myself unattractive and lack the confidence. I wish I had more confidence and that I would be at ease with myself and my image wherever I go but instead I hate myself and nurture this inner voice that tells me how stupid I sound and look.

What books helped you get over this feeling ? What / who inspired or transformed you ?

    1. Things No One Will Tell Fat Girls by Jes Baker is a good book about body positivity, and I think it’s still worth reading even if a person’s body insecurities aren’t weight-related. She talks about living for yourself and not for other people, and not restricting yourself from living your life now because of perfectionism or some future imaginary ideal.
