The books I’ve enjoyed in the past have always been books I could self-insert to at different stages of my life. Perks of Being a Wallflower, All Quiet on the Western Front, and Norwegian Wood are some of my favourites. I haven’t really finished a book in a while, but I’m trying to spend less time watching TV and more time reading.
I am really into philosophical works as well, like Marcus Aurelius, Nietzsche, the Bhagavad Gita. Sci-Fi has also interested me before, but in general I’ve always enjoyed books that have an almost poetic prose and deals with issues relevant to my life and experiences.
I would love if someone could help out!

Maybe crime and punishment? It might scratch that philosophical itch while also being an entertaining story with a lot of tension. You might not be able to insert yourself into the exact mindset of Raskolikov but you might relate to some of his troubles at the beginning since he is also a college student.
