Hi! I’m looking for more psychological horror books that don’t rely on blood and guts to be scary, instead focusing more on the human psyche, and preferably something fast-paced that you couldn’t put down! I’m mostly thinking along the lines of Misery (so I obviously don’t mind some gory scenes), but I also am fine with some supernatural elements as long as the focus is still on the effect it has on the characters (I really loved This Thing Between Us, Silver Nitrate, and The Shining.) Thanks!!

I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid. Couldn’t put down, read in one sitting and couldn’t stop thinking about it for a week. It’s a page turner that will have you confused and on the edge of your seat! Great psychological thriller 🙂
