Fantasy to Sci-Fi (and similar)

I’m a huge fan of media in which someone takes a pre-existing work in one genre and then reinterpreting it into a radically different genre.

So I’d love to hear some recommendations of books like this! Preferably available online, but if not, that’s okay!
