Just finished the first book of the series it was OK. Is it worth continuing? I like the 3 body problem, foundation series most of the classic sci fi books.
Yes, it’s definitely worth continuing. I was also a bit underwhelmed with the first book and it took me awhile before I re-read it and moved on with the rest of the series, but it improves dramatically after the first book.

If you only thought the first book was OK, I don’t think your opinion is going to change much for the next seven.

I stopped after the second book. I will probably pick it up again someday but imo the second book was equal to the first. If you didn’t like the first, I would not say that it gets “better”, necessarily.
