Spoilers on the book and movie are in this post!
I am reading Dances with Wolves with my English class and I’ve been wanting to search some stuff up to do this project we need to do. I can’t get a copy of the book until Wednesday, and over this weekend I have found it incredibly difficult to find any info on the book version. Anything I search, I only find results based on the movie.
Some examples of things I’ve tried to search:
Trying to get more info on Stands with a Fist suicide attempt and self-injury after her husband died, could only find movie results and nothing on the book version.
Also relating to Stands with a Fist, I believe her first husband was named in the book, and trying to search for his name, I could only find results based on the movie adaptation.
Again, a scene with Stands with a Fist, I tried to find this one moment between her and her husband where she says “ I am nothing. “ and her husband responds, “ You are plenty. “.
Nope, can’t find a single thing.
Sorry if this doesn’t fit in this sub, I just really need some advice on how I can find info specifically on the book version. It’s seriously annoying…
