I’m trying to make my SIL a blind date with a book package for Christmas. I’m trying to put 12 books in for a monthly kind of thing.
The problem Im having is she has already read so much! I truly do not even know how many books that girl owns. She is a psychopath who doesnt have a goodreads account so I am at a loss. I dont want to gift her a bunch of books she hasnt read but also dont want to tell her what Im planning.
Im hoping maybe I can get some suggestions. Her favorite series is Throne of Glass and she likes fantasy books. Any book that is already popular she has probably already read. If you have read an unpopular and obscure fantasy book can you recommend some to me? It doesn’t even have to be fantasy! What are your must reads that aren’t super popular?

Wings of Ebony by J. Elle was really good, and I haven’t heard a lot about it online.
If she likes Magic School type fantasy, Magic for Liars by Sarah Hailey is one of my favorites.
If she’s into vampires, I’ve seen nothing about the House of Comarre series by Kristen Painter (1st one is Blood Rights).
The Aurora Cycle books by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff are pretty good if she likes space fantasy (there’s 3 of them).
