I’m Palestinian-American and I’m very active and vocal in raising awareness about the genocide that’s happening in Palestine at the moment. I don’t need books about the history of the conflict or anything.
I am, however, looking for books by Palestinian authors that I can support. It doesn’t matter what it’s about, I just want to support my people.
The only one I can think of that I read is “A Woman Is No Man” by Etaf Rum. But if there are any other books, that would be amazing.

Haya Alyan is a Palestinian-American author and poet who has written a number of books. I really enjoyed Salt Houses, which starts in the West Bank, and then family members end up in a variety of countries. Her The Arsonist’s City is also on my list.
