Any books that you’ve loved and finished within a few days?
In a bit of a reading rut, looking to jump-start the momentum and finish up some hefty reads I’m currently reading!
**Read**: Armada, Ready Player One, Recursion, Out of the Silent Planet
**Currently Reading**: Dune, Project Hail Mary
Wouldn’t mind books outside of the sci-fi genre as well!
Much appreciated in advance 🙂

All You Need is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka
Peasprout Chen: Future Legend of Skate and Sword by Henry Lien
Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao
Camp QUILTBAG by Nicole Melleby and A. J. Sass
Crimson Dawn by C Z Dunn
I found the Broken Girls by Simone St James a quick read. A real page turner. Ruth Ware’s Zero days as well.
{{A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck}}
The expanse series. (Not quick reads, but gets you out of a reading rut)
For me, Binti by Nnedi Okorafor (scifi novella) and Deeplight by Frances Hardinge (dark fantasy)
Red rising by Pierce Brown!
*Nothing With Strings* by Bailey White. I read it in about an hour and a half. I’d forgotten how much I love her writing, and I quickly ordered her first two books as keepers: *Mama Makes Up Her Mind (and other hazards of Southern Living)* and *Sleeping at the Starlite Motel.*
– legendborn and bloodmarked – Tracy Deonn
– they both die at the end – Adam Silvera
– the final strife and the battle drum – Saara El-Arifi
– the space between worlds – Micaiah Johnson
– raybearer and redemptor – Jordan Ifueko
I just burned through “A Completely Remarkable Thing” by Hank Green in 3 days. I couldn’t put it down.
Recently had similar experience with “I Have Some Questions For You” by Rebecca Makkai
I am Legend
