My 10 year old son hasnt always been an avid reader, really only picked up books when he had to😅
However, recently he discovered the Hooky series and has been hooked! But there are only three books to the series and he is on the last one. I am thrilled that he is reading for fun and so I am seeking recommendations for books that share similarities with the Hooky series or any graphic novels appropriate for his age to encourage him to continue reading!

Ben Hatke’s books are great, both the Zita the Spacegirl and Mighty Jack series (and there’s a crossover book.) My 11 year old is also super into aaalll the Big Nate books. As well as the Science Comics books, if you think nonfiction would also be of interest.
I don’t know Hooky but have you checked out the
The Artemis Fowl graphic novel versions ( by Eoin Colfer) about the worlds greatest teenage master criminal.
, and also the Alex Rider Graphic novel versions (by Anthony Horowitz) about a teenage spy.
Other books that seem to appeal to young boys and have pictures though are not Graphic novels would be Captain Underpants, The Diary of a Wimpy kid, and the Tom Gates books.
