Hello!
I’m looking for ~feminine~ books, I don’t even know how to describe what I am looking for but I’d love something with a female main character, exploring life and relationships and friendships with other women. Not simple romance novels, but romantic aspects are fine.
Hope someone can help!

The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs
Watermelon – Marian Keyes
Feel good books:
– the Yorkshire pudding club (focuses heavily on pregnancy and changes in life around that, so may not be everyone’s cup of tea)
– the Sunday lunch club (focuses on family)
– The hygge holiday. I personally thought it was a snooze and basically a hallmark movie in book form but I was pretty alone with that opinion in my book club. It’s a romance, you can see the ending coming a mile away but for large parts of the book it focuses on the main characters relationships with other women. So if you’re looking for something light around the holidays…
More serious books:
– the power (dystopian with some interesting role reversal)
– the mercies ( historical fiction around witch trials in Norway)
– the wolf den ( historical fiction about a slave in Pompeii)
– six crimson cranes (ya fairytale retelling)
– Circe (greek mythology retelling)
– the island of sea women (historical fiction around the Japanese occupation of Korea)
