Needle in a Haystack, Casey Jordan… maybe
I just finished The Broken Girls by Simone St James. It was good. It would be in the supernatural mystery category. Her other books are good too.
I also liked None of this is true, by Lisa jewell. That was a mystery/thriller.
They were easy reads. Not too long, not too sophisticated in the language. And had good pacing so you wanted to turn the page and keep reading.
