To clarify: I mean the characters themselves are, as a person, extremely screwed in the wrong ways (cruel, terrible) and not a half-baked, poorly written character. Preferably the protagonist. The worse the better. If there’s also smut scenes, grisly writing, appalling themes, even better. Thank you!

Closest I can think of is **The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu**.

The main character of [Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/35838277) is a completely dysfunctional mess, though I wouldn’t say he’s all the way to abhorrent, and he’s *extremely* queer and generally well-written. There’s not a lot of plot in the book (it’s sort of a picaresque novel where the main character drifts around and gets into difficulties and behaves poorly) but there sure are a lot of fairly graphic sex scenes.
