Hi everyone! After watching the movie “Nobody”, I have the urge to read something outside of the realm of Fantasy and something that would feature this common trope. Essentially, an ex-killer/outlaw retired and started a family, but now he’s forced to come out of retirement one last time. Either to protect his family or for some other reason.
I know the trope is silly, but if there are any books with some actual depth and interesting perspective, I’d very much appreciate that. Also, the more realistic the better. No rambo, 1-man army, unless you deem that to be a thing worth overlooking!
