I love cooking. At least I used to. Now I have a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old and maybe 45 minutes to spend on cooking. The kids are pretty adventurous eaters, all things considered, but still aren’t as into spicy or crunchy as I would like. Mommy-blog-type recipes bore me. Cookbooks that intrigue me seem to require lots of time to spend on technique and/or lots of money to spend on hard to find ingredients. Any suggestions?
(I know this may not be the best sub for this question, but you all have never steered me wrong yet!)

I’ve been reading Nadiya’s Bake Me A Festive Story with my older kid the last few days. Nadiya tells you a story with food in it, then gives you the recipes for the food. Fun!
The cookbook I use most often is Best of Bridge, specifically the slow cooker book. Tasty recipes, few ingredients that your will never use again.
Jeffrey Eisner instant pot cookbooks are great. Simple, fast and tasty family friendly meals.
Following. I could use these ideas!
