Greetings everyone! I’m new to reddit and new to reading as well.
I read ‘It Ends with Us’ last month, it’s the first book I ever read , and in my opinion, it was quite a good story. Now, I’m thinking of reading ‘Reminders of Him,’ but I noticed that the Bookstagram community doesn’t seem to like Colleen Hoover. Why is that? Should I still read this book?

She’s actually huge on TikTok and has a ton of fans. But when you have a ton of fans you also get haters. I personally don’t enjoy her books because I feel like she sets up her male characters to be the hero when he’s really a jackass (see Ugly Love) and a bad dude (Verity) but when it comes to romance everyone has a different itch to scratch so you do you. If you liked the first book then read the sequel.
