Nonfiction like Krakauer

I’m about through the major works of Jon Krakauer and looking for things in a similar vein. I really have never read nonfiction for fun before his stuff. I’m drawn to the interesting subject matter, journalistic, veining nature of how he explores topics, and especially to his tendency to give human/moral interpretations on things. Nonfiction has occasionally turned me off in the past because I find the history textbook nature of some writing to be dull, but I like hearing a human voice in writing. I’m thinking I’ll take on In Cold Blood soon.
