Hey everyone, i’m trying to find a good book that will help me gain a better understanding of my mental health struggles (generalised anxiety disorder). I’d be happy to check out a bunch of options if anyone has anything to recommend, thank you all.

This might not be hugely relevant, but I really enjoyed *How Emotions Are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain* by Lisa Feldman Barrett. It argues for the role of “interoception”, a term I hadn’t heard before. The reason I think it could be helpful is because you want to gain a better understanding, and the book offers a model of brain function that might be a useful basis for further reading.
It’s not always depression by Hilary Jacobs Hendel
The Wild Edge of Sorrow by F Weller
No bad parts by R Schwartz
