My girlfriend and I are moving in together and are looking for a good cookbook to make our way through. We stopped at a bookstore today and Roast Figs, Sugar Snow by Diana Henry caught our eye and were wondering if this was a good start or have any that you really like. Thank you 🙂

I’d recommend Saffron Soul by Mira Manek
What level of cooks are you? If you want a good, solid, basic cookbook that also teaches you what cooking terms mean and how to do them, I’d recommend *Fanny Farmer* or T*he Joy of Cooking*. Or *Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat*.
