I can’t think of anything exactly like it. So much of Twin Peaks is audio/visual.
But if you’re interested in a sort of creeping horror where you’re uncertain if the narrator is actually seeing things v. having a mental break down give Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House a shot. If you’ve seen any of the film/tv adaptations try to put those out of mind.
