I love good survivor stories, and would love to read more books where someone is faced with a challenging situation in the classic “man vs. nature” struggle, like being castaway on a small island, or lost in the desert/forest/tundra/mountains etc. and having to deal with finding food, water, shelter, and so on.
Thing is I also love character chemistry and bonding. I actually am really into romance stories, and while that’s by no means a prerequisite (but a huge plus) I don’t want to read a whole story with only a single character in it.
I also love stories where characters go from survive to thrive like in **Swiss Family Robinson** and actually manage to build up a home of sorts.
Let me know what suggestions you got, and tell me a bit about the characters!
