Looking for non-fiction books about new wave/80s electronic (especially underground/international)
What the title says👆 I am looking for books about new wave or electronic music (synthpop, minimal, coldwave, ambient, experimental, etc) especially those that touch on the more underground or international sides of it. Thanks.
I’m reading Daniel Spicer’s *Anadolu Psych* right now – about the Turkish psychedelic underground that was terminated by the 1980 NATO coup. It’s a monumental testimony to vinyl-bin-raking and even though it doesn’t exactly fit your remit I think you’d like it.
