    hi guys !

I haven\`t travelled for many years, and I am going to travel to Venice in December. I am so excited that I would like you to recommend me some books (Thrillers) based on Venice. I would prefer fast pace books, because I am prone to getting bored if the pace is very slow.

    Thanks in advance !!

Of course, there’s Donna Leon’s series about Comissario Brunetti if you don’t mind detective stories. I found it very well written and loved the way she gives glimpses into both the history of the city and its transformation (along with local politics and social issues) in the 90s.

    2. Ian McEwan’s The comfort of strangers is worth a look,
although I’m not sure you’d call it a thriller.
