I used to love reading as a teen and would usually finish a book in a day, but for 7 years I’ve worked full time and have been full time student. That being said, I have little to no free time and my mentality has been “if I’m going to read a book it should be my text books”, but I neeeeeed an outlet, I’m interested in getting into a book series. Any recommendations? I love horror, romance, fantasy, history.. literally any plot that can reel me in enough to read an entire series. *nothing smutty*

Survive the Night by Riley Sager had me burning thru the pages like I was a kid without a care again. Thriller/kinda horror.
Verity by Colleen Hoover also had me turning the pages quickly but not as fast as the latter. Also thriller with some sauciness.
Recently read Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson in like 5 days. It’s fantasy and somewhat lighthearted and very fun. I went through it pretty fast for a mostly stay at home dad of two toddlers…but ymmv.
