It’s a post apocalyptic book of sorts where a husband and wife are living in their car and constantly in danger when they find out about a community that’s walled off and in order to live there I think they have to take turns kind of working in a prison of sorts? One works there while the other lives a life of leisure and every couple of weeks they switch and take it in shifts.
I’m really trying to remember the title of it.
