My mom has expressed a desire to get back into reading but it seems like we have very different tastes lol. She doesn’t like fiction/fantasy much.
She really loves James Herriot. Also likes Jim Corbett and some Rudyard Kipling books. I also recall she enjoyed Panzer Leader, Heinz Guderian’s autobiography (one of Hitler’s generals)
Anything along those veins would help.
She’s also a doctor, maybe she’s find something relating to medicine interesting.
Nothing too depressing, since her life is depressing enough.
