My grandma is 91 & lives in a cold state. She spends most of her winter reading. She loves to read John Grisham and other legal thrillers. She is open to other types of books besides romance & murder mystery. No sexual content or violence. She tends to read a whole book in a day or 2. Please help me find books for my grandma.

You might let her try the “Maisie Dobbs” series by Jacqueline Winspear. It’s a “female sleuth” type series set in and around London in the 1920-30’s.
A unique and independent protagonist in her 30’s who’s easy to love and respect. Romance is a minor part in some books (she has a hard time committing since her first love) Historical fiction elements are frequently incorporated into each book.
