This year has been a great one for me in terms of reading, I’ve managed to read a lot more than I expected and a lot of my reads have been great, but right now I don’t have any book lined up. Some of my fave reads this year have been:

* Vicious
* Slewfoot
* The Likeness
* In The Woods
* The Shadow of The Wind
On the other side, I wasn’t crazy about these:

* In My Dreams I Hold a Knife

Babel! A little dark academia with magic.
If you haven’t already read the Scholomance series by Naomi Novik, it’s a trilogy that may hit the spot. Really interesting take on the magic school/dark academia tropes.
