To understand what I mean, I present an author that fits to that description. Freida McFadden. I love how engaging her writing is. It is easy to get sucked in the world and be part of it. The story really comes alive.
But at the same time, she doesn’t write anything original. I don’t say every story has to be original to be good. However, you can pretty much guess the plot right at the start. Also, she uses many stereotypes and cliches which can be bit annoying at times.
However, I just have to read everything she writes because she is so good writer. I cannot name anyone who would have same impact on me.
Do you know any authors like that? Authors who write entertaining books that really aren’t that good.
