Thinking Fast and Slow – probably classified more as science than self-help but will definitely change the way you think.

The Compound Effect is an easy read compared to other books I’ve tried to read.

this is gendered so unsure if it would apply to you and also can only loosely be defined as self help (its like half philosophical) but Communion: The Female Search For Love by bell hooks was a truly transformative read

The Easy Way to Quit Smoking by Allan Carr

I think the book that changes your life would have to be a book that addresses an area where you know you need to grow.
My big two are *Healing Rang*e by Mary King and T*he Body Keeps the Score* by Bessel Van Der Kolk. But they may not speak to you at all.
*Why Won’t You Apologize* by Harriet Lerner is another fantastic book, but if you grew up with people who knew how to acknowledge their faults and you can too, I doubt it will have much impact on you.
Just a thought, but maybe you are bored because you haven’t identified what you really need yet.
