If you were to die tomorrow, what book would you read one last time?
If the end was near and you had the chance to read one last book, which book would you choose? Can be one you’ve read in the past or never had the chance to read.
“Life After Life” by Kate Atkinson. My favorite novel. It never fails to move me.

i am old and fall asleep while reading, so i will need at least a year to finish the book i started a few days ago… ken follett’s, 3rd in the pillars of the earth series ” column of fire”….and i need another two years to read the fourth and fifth books….

If we’re counting religious texts/epics, the (Shastri translation of) the Ramayana, free on wisdomlib. It was one of the first stories I ever heard/was aware of and I’ve been slightly obsessed with it my entire life.
Although the actual answer is “I wouldn’t read books, I’d spend time with loved ones.”

Gawain and The Green Knight. My mom read this poem to me as a bedtime story when I was in kindergarten. It shaped my interests in medieval chivalric romance and fantasy for the rest of my life.
