I haven’t read any romantic story book or novel yet. Although I’ve seen numerous romantic movies and animes but not a book.
So I want your suggestion for a great romantic story/novel.

    1. When in doubt, I’d go to the all time classics.

      * **Pride and Prejudice** and **Northanger Abbey** by Jane Austen (the ones I’ve read of her, can’t recommend more), which inspired the Bridgerton books (then adapted to the netflix series). They’re filled with the best of the best drama and surprisingly funny scenarios.
      * **Jane Eyre** by Charlotte Brontë, imo very similar to Jane Austen’s books, but in a darker ambience and less comedy. One of my favorite books ever.
      * **Wuthering heights** by Emily Brontë. Not my taste, but I highly recommend it if you’re into romance tropes. I think this one would fit in three of them: enemies to lovers, childhood love and friends to lovers.
      * **White Nights** by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Short and sweet. Emotional rollercoaster. It’s hard to make me cry reading something, but this one managed to do it.
      * **Anna Karenina** by Lev Tolstoi too. This one’s quite long. I’m currently reading it and I already know it’s going to be in favorite books shelf. A lot of in depht views of love and romance.

    2. My personal favorites are Me Before You by Jojo Moyes and Paper Castles by B. Fox. They are both sad I must warn you. But that’s exactly why I love them so much.
