My wife has tasked me with finding her a book for Christmas. Usually I will browse online/local bookstores until something catches my eye, but looking to get something really recommended.
She enjoys something with a love story but not something over the top lovey and not something overly explicit.
She likes things set in modern times but if it is set in the past, not overly historical in the storyline.
She enjoys Cecilia Ahern and has read most of her books.
She’s really after an easy read that feels good. Whilst she loves reading, she doesn’t have a huge amount of time, and so books that may be great but take a good chunk of reading to get into and get going, usually get put down and left.
Any recommendations? Thanks!!

Has she read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue?
Something by Maeve Binchy.
Practice makes perfect or other Sarah adams books
Marian Keyes or Beth O’Leary are both good, especially if she likes Cecilia Ahern.
Maybe Emily Henry? Those can be a bit sad at times
