After years of thinking my ADHD made me bad at reading, I recently had a revelation: I just wasn’t choosing books that were interesting enough! I hated all of the books I had to read in high school and they really turned me off of reading, so in my early 20s I only read a very small handful of books and found them so boring that it took me MONTHS to finish them, if I even finished them at all. I’m now 24 and I just rediscovered my love of reading with The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo! I loved it because the hints of the twists to come kept me wanting more and I was unable to put the book down. I read half of it in one day! What are some other similar books that have plot twists and exciting storylines to keep my ADHD brain engaged? I’m going to Mexico for Thanksgiving and want to bring one or two good beach reads with me!

So I just looked up the book you read and it says it’s historical fiction. Because of this, I have to recommand another historical fiction writer, Kate Quinn, who has been my favorite author ever since I discovered her books three years ago. A lot of her books are page-turners in my opinion. My starting point was The Alice Network, which is the one that sold the most, but my favorite is The Huntress and her Empress of Rome series. Any of them would be fine for you I think.
Same boat as you and the only ones I’ve been able to get through is If We Were Villains and the Flavia de Luce series
Try The girls I’ve been by Tess Sharpe, it’s about a bank heist
