    1. Fast paced writing styles you may like:

      * Anything by Sarah Pinsker. My favourites are the novel We Are Satellites and the novella [And Then There Were N-1](https://escapepod.org/2018/11/01/escape-pod-652-and-then-there-were-n-one-part-1/)

      * Books by Peter Clines. These are more like blockbuster movies made for mass appeal, though. Like if Project Hail Mary ditched all the science.

      * The Stars Now Unclaimed by Drew Williams. If you’re a fan of the Mass Effect video games, this book is a lot like that.

      * Have Space Suit, Will Travel by Robert A. Heinlein. Not quite as fast paced, but when I was reading Project Hail Mary, it reminded me a lot of this book.
