After noticing the title *Me Talk Pretty One Day (*by David Sedaris) floating around Reddit, I decided to take out the book. I’ve never outright cackled while reading a book, in my entire life, until now. “*A week after putting her to sleep, I received Neil’s ashes in a forest green can. She’d never expressed any great interest in the outdoors, so I scattered her remains on the carpet and then vacuumed her back up.”* There were so many fantastic moments (e.g., the French class trying to explain Jesus/Christmas, his gig as a mover). It was an overall genuinely funny (and occasionally poignant) book that really put a smile on my face.
While I do plan on exploring more of Sedaris’ works, I am curious to hear if you all have any other books that genuinely made you cackle or laugh out loud!
