    1. I do mostly sci-fi/fantasy/romance, so my suggestions will be from that perspective.

      Robin Hobb does this a lot (Farseer series). Ilona Andrews might be another good example, except the switched perspective is pretty rare (Kate Daniels, Innkeeper Chronicles, Hidden Legacy). Rebekah Weatherspoon rocked this in *Haven*. Lois McMaster Bujold does a great job switching between narratives (Vorkosigan Saga, The Sharing Knife). NK Jemison is also a good author to look at. Kresley Cole (Immortals After Dark) always does at least two perspectives, but some books she does three or four.

      Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh. Has a few narrators and all very different voices. Takes a few pages to get used to the Scottish dialect.
