Looking for nice winter/christmas-book to read during winter
I want to read a book with a fictional Story that playes during winter or christmas. The book needs to have a german Version. Plus points if it has trans representation. I don’t care about the Genre. Any suggestions?
Some of Christie’s book take place in winter, like The Murder on the Orient Express. There is also a bundle with her short stories that take place during winter, I think it’s called Midwinter Murders.

There’s a lot of fairytale/folklore retellings or just inspired works at the moment:
– upon a frosted star
– for the wolf
– midnight in Everwood
– spinning silver
– the bear and the nightingale
– girls made of snow and glass
Also second “murder on the Orient express”, though I suspect it loses a lot of appeal if you already know the ending. Also, I don’t think it’s heavy on winter themes but “before the coffee gets cold”
Stories that are a bit less of a magical/cosy vibe;
– Moon of the crusted snow (post apocalyptic)
– Beartown (contemporary)
