It’s recently become a pet peeve of mine when the main girl of a book is beautiful and the love interest tells her but she swears shes not. I found it very annoying when reading ACOTAR and Daughter of the Moon Goddess. I really would love a very confident mc that knows how beautiful (and maybe sexy) she is and used that to her advantage but still in a more romance centered book
