A couple weeks ago I asked for books that would make me cry, now I want books that will make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I don’t read romance books. Ever. I used to in like middle and early high school but then they just stopped being interesting to me. Now I read adult fiction, transgressive, dark books. Very opposite from romance.
The last romance book I read was Lovely War (2021). Oh my God I loved that book!!! The romance was sweet and real.
So I want to dabble into the romance genre a bit because it’s not what I’m used to. I would prefer a book without a main guy character who’s like all dominant and controlling or whatever. That’s a no. But everything else is fine ☺️ (and yes a little smut is okay, it never hurt anyone) (oh and ones that could make me cry 😢you can suggest those as well, preferably actually)

A Brother’s Price by Wen Spencer. It’s a romance written by a writer who doesn’t usually write romance, for people who don’t usually read romance (I suspect people who usually read romance might be less into it? Not sure).
Definitely no domineering/controlling men in there!
