I’m an author working on my own compilation of short stories and I’m interested to see what the average people expect these novels/novellas to end up in length.
I’m currently aiming for 150-200 pages, and Google says the average compilation is 120pages. Should I aim for the 150? Would you be satisfied with 150pages of short stories or prefer something lengthier?
I’ve read the rules of the subreddit so hopefully this post is okay, I don’t really classify this question as a survey or research but just a general question for your average reader! Please let me know if this breaks any rules!
